Poland is a country located in the heart of Europe with four seasons and an extremely rich landscape. In your free time, you can go to the mountains, the sea or one of the many Masurian lakes. Usually, you can find a forest around your place of residence, go for a walk in the park or ride a bike.

Thanks to the rapidly developing urban infrastructure, depending on the place of stay, you can travel by bus, trains, trams or subway. As a country belonging to the European Union, we can use the open borders with the countries belonging to the European Union, and there are as many as 27 of them. The country is in constant development, we are building new workplaces, new roads, foreign companies willingly invest in Poland, thanks to which the labor market is extremely competitive and offers many interesting jobs.

Already over a million foreigners work legally in Poland, and this number is constantly growing because the labor market needs new hands to work all the time.

Life in Poland is very stable, so by settling here permanently you can plan a peaceful future in a pleasant climate. Poles are very kind to foreigners, they are a nation with traditions and values such as family, faith and love for their country. It is a country where Christians predominate, but they respect other religions. Poles appreciate their social life very much, they have a sense of humor. They like going to restaurants and cinema. In winter, do outdoor sports, and in summer, relax by the lakes, the sea or barbecue with friends. There are many public holidays during the year and many music&culture festivals to take part in. The most important holidays are Christmas and Easter. 

It is a relatively cheap country to live in compared to other European countries. The currency used by Poles is the Polish Zloty (PLN). In the future, however, entry into the euro area is being considered. 

In Poland, when you are employed under an employment contract or a mandate contract, you are compulsorily insured with ZUS (Social Insurance Institution). When you are insured by your employer, you have the right to receive healthcare.
